Nassim Abed is a strategic thinker, committed and analytical senior management consultant with over twenty years of professional experience focused mainly in the healthcare industry. Nassim has consistently produced unprecedented results upon executing projects in the areas of operational process improvement, strategy development and execution, performance management, and healthcare quality accreditation. Nassim has a proven track record of increasing revenue and profitability through successfully leading project teams and managing relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Nassim is also experienced in mentoring and coaching first-time project managers and in course facilitation for all seniority levels, with classroom and online deliveries spanning multiple countries and various industry sectors.
Nassim worked as regional head of strategy, business excellence, and program realization office at two major multinational corporations in the pharmaceutical industry (Merck & Co. and Takeda)
Nassim lead the business risk management exercise with a focus on regulatory uncertainties and quantifying their potential impact on speed to market, and product pricing
Nassim coached management teams in identification, prioritization, and execution of process improvement initiatives as well as the development of standards for streamlining operational processes and aligning cross-functional dependencies
Since 2019, Nassim has advised hospitals and clinics on JCI accreditation, strategic alliances, and operational improvements, and consulted/delivered courses for regulatory authorities in the GCC
Nassim’s geographic experience spans the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, and south-east Asia
Nassim’s functional experience also spans sales, marketing, business intelligence, and course delivery
Nassim holds a Master of Science degree in hospital management, is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Nassim in also well versed in change management and experienced in managing change through restructuring and post-M&A operational integration
